This type of direct-measurement sensitivity is useful in measuring vibration on very large and/or stiff machines where accelerometers would net a weak signal. In many applications, the frequency response our sensors are capable of allows one to “kill 2 birds with one stone,” recording vibration and real time force data concurrently.
